Lisa is a coach, advisor, mentor, and fierce champion of women in sport and business. Born in Des Moines, she fell in love with soccer before it was a sanctioned high school sport. Growing up, she filled a unique dual role on her teams: goal scorer AND goalkeeper. She also competed in basketball and golf while at Roosevelt high school and played all three sports at the College of Saint Benedict (MN), emerging as a soccer All-American goalkeeper (still wearing #10!) before going on to play at the semi-pro level. Lisa has coached at the collegiate, club, and high school levels and has been the head girls’ soccer coach at North High School in Des Moines since 2015. Her background is in athletic counseling, leadership development, and finance.
Lisa cares deeply for her community and, as the mother of 2 young girls, created 1014 Sports Group to provide the kinds of sports events that offer meaningful, fun, and positive experiences for all.
